Chandler is the National Fall Pledge Class Namesake for 2010. Brother Chandler served on the National Board of Directors as the Liaison to the Boy Scouts of America from 1991 until his retirement in 2008. He was initiated into the Omicron Tau Chapter at Alma College in 1965. He holds a B.A. in Social Sciences and a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Michigan State University. He served as the Director of Human Resources Administration for the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America in Irving, Texas. Imagine rocking the Toast Song while careening the stellar masses of Space Mountain or fending off hitchhiking ghost from the Haunted Mansion using our fraternity hand sign. Also, we will all take a picture in front of the castle with our letters on around 4:00 pm. Everyone is welcome to come--the more the merrier! The actual number of service hours recorded by all chapters in the Region was 107,806. Congratulations! As a reward, brothers in attendance at the 2008 National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts, were privileged to witness the shaving of Region Director Franklin Brodsky's head. His hair was completely shaved, with the assistance of Gamma Beta (SJSU) Brother Byron Pulu (pictured, left), and the long strands of hair donated to Locks of Love.
